The foundation of successful PVP in Evony is having the right troop composition. Different troop types counter each other in a rock-paper-scissors system:

Pro Tip

Generals Selection
Choosing the right generals for PVP is crucial. Focus on these attributes:
Attack Generals
Prioritize attack buffs and march size increases. Recommended: Minamoto, Elektra, Roland, Hannibal
Defense Generals
Focus on HP and defense buffs. Recommended: Leonidas, Queen Boudica, Scipio, Trajan
Mounted Specialists
For cavalry-focused attacks. Recommended: Roland, Hannibal, Martinus, Napoleon
Battle Mechanics
Understanding how battles work is key to PVP success:
